Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about specifying, ordering, and receiving your bespoke packaging.
Category 1: Ordering & Logistics
The Basics...
What are your Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)?
We specialise in helping SMEs, so we offer flexible runs. Whether you need a small batch of 50 prototypes or a production run of 5,000, we can accommodate.
What is the standard lead time?
Typically, manufacture takes 3 - 5 working days from artwork approval. If you have an urgent requirement, let us know—we always try to help.
Can you hold stock for me?
Yes, we offer stock-and-call-off agreements for regular customers to help manage your warehouse space.
I only need a small run for a trial—do you have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
We have no MOQ. Because we utilise a stock board for agile runs, we can support prototypes and trial launches without the burden of high-volume commitments
Category 2: Materials & Strength
The "Technical" Stuff
How do I know if I need Single Wall or Double Wall?
Answer: It usually depends on weight and the "journey." As a rule of thumb: Under 10kg = Single Wall; Over 10kg or Fragile = Double Wall.
Are your boxes sustainable?
Absolutely. All our corrugated materials are 100% recyclable and made from a high percentage of recycled content.
Can you handle my ERP and compliance data requirements
Yes. Every supply agreement includes full material traceability, weights, and recycled content data. We provide this in a format ready for your ERP system to simplify your Plastic Tax and EPR reporting
Category 3: Branding & Print
The "Creative" Side
What is the difference between Flexo and Litho printing?
Flexo is perfect for high-volume, simple branding (logos/text). Litho is used for high-resolution, "photo-quality" retail packaging.
Can I print on the inside of the box?
Yes! Internal printing is a great way to create a premium "unboxing" experience for e-commerce brands.
Category 4: Quality & Operations
Do you offer "Just-In-Time" (JIT) delivery for manufacturing assembly lines?
Yes. We understand that warehouse space is a premium for injection moulders and electronics manufacturers. We work with our commercial partners to provide scheduled deliveries
How do you ensure consistency across high-volume production runs?
We utilise automated colour management and precision die-cutting technology to ensure that the 10,000th unit is identical to the first. Our operational workflow includes regular "first-off" inspections and "in-process" testing for structural integrity and print accuracy.
Category 5: The Packaging Audit
What exactly is a Packaging Audit and how does it work?
A Packaging Audit is a holistic review of your current packaging estate. One of our technical specialists evaluates your material usage, transit damage rates, and packing line speeds. We then provide a data-backed report identifying exactly where you can reduce waste, lower shipping costs, and improve component protection.
How can an audit help reduce our shipping and logistics costs?
Many businesses are "over-packaging," leading to unnecessary weight and excessive dimensional volume. We analyze your pallet configuration and "dead space" within boxes. By optimizing the footprint of your packaging, we can often increase pallet density by 10–15%, significantly reducing your cost-per-unit in transit.
Category 6 Jargon Buster
The Translator
What is a FEFCO code?
It’s the international standard for box designs. For example, 0201 is your standard shipping box. We use these codes to ensure your design is globally recognised.
What does 'GSM' mean
It stands for Grams per Square Metre. It’s simply the way we measure the weight and thickness of the paper used in your box.
